#1 Introduction

Hello!

Nice to meet you, my name is Haru, and welcome to my blog!

A little bit about myself: I am and have been super interested in astronomy/astrophysics since I was a child, and I plan on pursuing it in college and as a career. Besides astronomy, my interests include dance, crochet, and origami. I decided to start this blog to share my knowledge and interest for this fascinating subject. Also, I am new to making blogs, so I am sure I will learn many things along the way as well.

I personally believe that there is no limit to learning about the outer space. Whether it is learning about space itself and how we came to be, or about the technologies that make it possible to learn these things, there is an endless amount of topics you can educate yourself with in this field.

I know that many people may be afraid to learn about astronomy, because you will never be able to fully grasp its concept. Afterall, it is quite difficult to believe that there are black holes swallowing matter, the universe is constantly expanding (at least for now), multiverses may exist, and more, all in the universe we currently reside in. It is quite a weird feeling.

You cannot look at this and say you are not mesmerized... come on.

Or this??

I also know that many may dislike or are scared of physics as a subject… and I totally understand why! Its logic and way of thinking is quite difficult after all, and although I have lived a short life so far, I have struggled a lot while learning physics.

These thoughts, though, are the reasons I decided to make this blog - I hope to debunk the stigma or fear around this very subject and turn YOUR fear into curiosity!!! Whether it is by explaining the concepts as if I am talking to a child, or providing a bunch of photos and videos, or just trying to make the blog fun, I truly hope that by the end, you will have at least a little more interest in astronomy/astrophysics than you did when you first started reading.

If you have any questions at all… submit them right here! I will do my very best to answer your questions through an email or in an upcoming blog. Asking questions is what makes us gain knowledge about our world, and we have to stay curious in order to become more open-minded and educated!

Thank you for reading my introduction, and I hope you will continue to stay on this journey of expanding our horizon of our knowledge!!

I also have a Japanese version of the blog on Ameba: https://ameblo.jp/haruspace0/

Consider checking it out if you are interested!
